PHOENIX maintains a fleet of conventional trucks (HGVs) to accommodate its regular LTL traffic on European routes. Most trucks are articulated HGVs with a single trailer of 13.6 metres length and are equipped for ADR transport. Although currently most trucks have mechanical tachographs, there is a plan to gradually switch to digital tachographs.
The following types of trucks are available by PHOENIX.
- Single truck (single chassis ), articulated vehicle. Internal dimensions, Length: 13,60, Width: 2.60, Height: 2.40 metres, total gross measurement 85 cbm, payload about 23,000 kgs.
- Double truck (6+8 double chassis, lorry + towed trailer). Internal dimensions, Length: 14,00, Width: 2.40, Height: 2.40 metres, total gross measurement 80 cbm, payload about 23,000 kgs (8,000 kgs on front, 15,000 kgs on rear chassis).
- Reefer truck, articulated vehicle, insulated, with refrigeration possibility. Internal dimensions, L:13,50, W:2.40, H:2.30 metres, total gross measurement 74 cbm, payload about 23,000 kgs.
Other types of trucks can be provided on request for spot traffic.
