PHOENIX was established in 1991, with the vision to becoming the first quality freight forwarder in Greece offering a complete package of services in sea, air, land, railway and multi-modal freight and transport on homeward traffic as well as on cross trades. In 1994, PHOENIX was the first freight forwarder in Greece to receive ISO-9002:1994 certification, equally, in 2002, the first freight forwarder to extend this certification to the new Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2000 and in 2005 the first to obtain ISO-14001:2004 for Environmental Management. Over the years services have expanded to include also project transport, customs clearance, general cargo logistics, ships’ spare parts logistics, fiscal representations and transport consulting.

PHOENIX maintains owned offices premises in Athens/Piraeus and Thessaloniki, operates its own container terminal in the vicinity of the port of Piraeus, its own consolidation warehouses and is present at the airports of Athens (ATH) and Thessaloniki (SKG). Also runs daily cargo deliveries and distribution to Greek metropolitan areas, the Greek hinterland, island Greece, as well as on-carriage to the adjacent countries of Albania, Serbia, Kossovo, Bulgaria and FYRO Macedonia. The company is fully automated on effective ERP and MRP systems.
